747 Traffic Patterns in Ce172

It has been a while since I updated this site...... seeing that I will be teaching an instrument ground course, I believe it is time to update.. So here it goes This is one of my biggest pet peeves and it is bad here at KCVO. Are you flying a 747 traffic pattern in a Cessna 172?? Are you a "Time Builder" or are you a "Pilot"? A "Time builder" might justify a wide pattern that only a large heavy Jet can justify, but a pilot can FLY. Flying is fun, using ones skill and judgment to fly a pattern that is land-able with an engine failure is something one can rest assured will pay off when the time comes that you need to cram an airplane in a tight spot after an engine failure
